RUCKSACKER Backpacker Hostel is a budget traveller lodge in the centre of Christchurch, New Zealand - a friendly alternative to a cheap hotel or a Youth Hostel (YHA). Come and relax in our small, friendly hostel with a sunny private garden and BBQ area. Our 100-year-old traditional Kiwi house has a homely atmosphere with heated rooms, comfortable lounge with DVD & video player, book-swap and games and a big kitchen. Our dorms sleep six (female dorm available), double/twin rooms have own TVs. Some off-street car parking, free local phone, cheap internet ($2 an hour), baggage storage, bike hire ($7 a day). 10 minutes walk to Cathedral Square, central city nightlife and the Arts Centre. Direct bus to airport.
